Role Purpose:

To act as the primary operational link between clients (patients, doctors, and partners) and the Genetics laboratory, ensuring an exceptional end-to-end client experience. This involves guiding clients through the genetic testing process, coordinating logistics such as sample collection and delivery, liaising with medical aids, and ensuring that all timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met. The role exists to make the process seamless, efficient, and positive for every client, while supporting the laboratory and other internal teams in delivering accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

  • Relevant administration related qualification or minimum 5 years administration experience
  • Previous Medical experience advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with doctors and patients about genetic tests (via phone, email, and in person)
  • Liaise with medical aids to obtain authorisations
  • Oversee the logistics of blood draws and sample collection
  • Monitor samples to ensure they are processed on time and accurately
  • Arrange registrations, client appointments, and patient follow-ups
  • Prepare results and invoices
  • Arrange sample collections from patients or labs
  • Prepare collection kits and handle ad-hoc logistics
  • Apply for import/export permits
  • Manage after-hours genetics phone line
  • Reconcile courier invoices
  • Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, and finance teams to streamline processes

We are looking for professional, compassionate, and reliable nurses for NIPT & MiniMi blood draws. This role requires travelling to various locations to perform blood draws for clients and ensuring that all samples are collected, handled, and transported according to strict quality and safety standards.

**Please note that this is not a full-time employment role — work and pay will be determined by the ad hoc needs of the business, and you will be paid a fixed rate per blood draw.


Minimum Requirements

  • Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse qualification with valid SANC registration.
  • Phlebotomy experience essential.
  • Valid driver’s license, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Debtors Controller to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable function — ensuring accurate recording, timely collection of outstanding debts, and contributing to improved cash flow across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Debtors Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
