AmnioMatrix is produced from the amnion membrane of the placental membranes.
AmnioMatrix is used as an ophthalmic therapy product which helps reduce pain and stimulate healing of eye wounds. It acts a biological scaffold for new cells to grow on and contains vital growth factors and cytokines that are integral in the repair of eye wounds.

Who should use AmnioMatrix
Patients who suffer from the following:
Ulcers of the cornea or conjunctiva
Chemical burns or traumatic punctures of the eye
Surgery of the eye such as pterygium removal or reconstruction of the conjunctiva
