The cut-off time for parents to register a gift registry is 4 weeks prior to their due date.
Expectant parents registering a gift registry on the Next Biosciences website need to make payment for the REGISTRATION FEE (R3,500) upon registration.
If “Full Payment upon registration” is selected and the total amount received is insufficient to cover the total costs of banking and selected storage, the client agrees to pay the remaining balance before the baby’s birth.
If one of the other payment options is selected, the Banking Fee and Storage Fee shall be due and payable in accordance with the monthly payment plan selected once the client has received notification (meaning confirmation of storage by Next Biosciences together with issue of the Cord Blood/Tissue Test results certificate) of the stem cells being successfully banked.
Clients registering online will be charged at the current price at the time of registering. Only promotional discounts offered at the time of registration may be applied.
Parents can at any time login to the ‘Manage Your Registry’ portal to view contributions received. Parents will also receive notification of contributions via email.
Closing the Registry
The registry will be closed on the due date provided by the client upon registration. Family and friends will not be able to contribute to the registry thereafter.
If the Cord Blood/ Tissue Stem cells are sub-optimal, and the client elects to destroy the stem cells, the client (and not the contributors to the gift registry) will be refunded the Banking Fee and Storage Fee. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
If the Cord Blood/ Tissue Stem Cells fail to meet Next Biosciences’ storage limit requirements, and the client elects to destroy the stem cells, the client (not the contributors to the gift registry) will be refunded the Banking Fee and Storage Fee. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
